Meeting agenda
8 - 9:00 - catch up with each team →
What do the leaders need in terms of support from CDs and Producers
Design
Started design the moth and everyone started working on their own tasks
4 people are working on moth → now updated to everyone working on the moth
They need more reference for 2D design
- Rivai and Yao want more designs for 2nd and 3rd designs for the moth
Modeling the 3D model for the moth
- Yao - We might not need the morphing moth because the 3D might resolve the morphing problem. We might be able to do the 1st and 2nd moth. The animation approach will guide the morphing. For the current stage, we only need 2 (1st and 2nd). → Yao will send an update soon. Finalize the storyboard today!!
Finding a reference for 3D design
- Looking for a dynamic angle for the 3D design
- ask the team- try to sketch the moth design
- redesign based on Rivai’s design
- showing the initial sketches
- designing new sketches- make the design fit in more with the style guide
- i.e. minimal and have circular shapes
- like the tail designs
- Yao likes the sketch
- Clair’s Sketch is very close to being done → Jinkyu - there’s a lot of potential for this drawing to become a base for the final design - (the tails for the moth)
- Yao likes Clair’s 2nd and 3rd
- The 2nd and 3rd design will act as a base for the first moth → the 2nd and 3rd card will be designed based off this one
- Yao likes Lulu’s triangular sketch
- Jinkyu → this will be helpful for future background elements
Each one of the illustrators will start with the front of the moth before moving on to making perspective designs → 11/24 6pm
Summary of Deadlines:
- November 24, 6 PM EST: Clair, Lu, and Cassie finish 12 top-view sketches.
