The most memorable moment in CoMotion 2025 was developing an idea from rough sketches into a final piece. Initially, we had only a few keyframes and loose concepts, but we refined our vision through discussions. To ensure everyone shared the same perspective, I gathered references, defined color palettes, and structured the narrative visually. Instead of just describing my vision, I facilitated understanding through clear communication. When planning shots, we considered their emotional impact and storytelling role. Collaborative feedback from directors and designers helped shape the visuals. The transformation from concept to reality was inspiring, proving teamwork is essential for bringing abstract ideas to life. Seeing our vision materialize was the most rewarding part of the project.
If I could turn back time, I’d experiment more with styles and approaches. Due to tight deadlines, we often chose the safest methods. Given another chance, I’d explore bolder aesthetics and new technologies. Early on, we settled on a direction quickly, but further experimentation could have created a more unique outcome. I also regret not using more AI-driven tools, real-time rendering, and interactive techniques. Additionally, a more flexible feedback system with directors would have allowed for more innovation. If we had faster, direct communication, we could have tested ideas, failed, and iterated more freely. CoMotion 2025 taught me that pushing creative limits and fostering open collaboration are key to making groundbreaking work.
I love how motion design constantly evolves. We are not just creating visuals but crafting experiences and messages. What excites me most is how technology—AI, real-time rendering, and interactive media—reshapes storytelling. In the past, motion graphics focused on commercials and branding, but now, we merge with spatial design, immersive experiences, and generative art. This industry is never stagnant; we must adapt, experiment, and innovate. Despite challenges, creators continuously push boundaries instead of settling. Seeing how motion design, interactive media, and AI-driven animation converge is inspiring. Even in difficult times, the pursuit of innovation and exploration fuels this industry, and I am excited to see how we redefine storytelling in the future.
