Jinkyu liked the sketches he assigned

We’re in a rushed schedule

The moth drawing was originally due Tuesday but Yao extended the deadline to Friday for moth #1 and #2

Moth #3 will be due sometime next week

The green dot on the moths = finalized design that will move forward

• Trying to select one more moth aside from the 2 with the green dot to move forward

Jinkyu thinks that we might be able to find some more variation for the designs → this will make more options for the directors to choose a direction going forward

Group critique for the moths

For the chapter 2 moth:

• Ch2_05 was missing the design phase

Jinkyu likes Ch#2_03 → Clair’s design

• Yuyan did a good job with the graphic design development for this moth

• Jinkyu likes Lu and HaoHao’s sketches

  • This moth can be more geometrical → there are tons of lines that we can use for reference later

• If we remove some lines from Lu’s drawing if we remove some lines it might be easier to see the moth through the design

• The creative directors really enjoyed the first and second designs. This is why we are going to continue developing them

Jieru also likes Ch#2_03

• Thinks we might decrease the number of lines in Lu’s sketches → fourth sketch
  • When Jieru was designing the moth herself she reduced the number of lines so this design would be more cohesive with the previous designs → the forth sketch was too complex
  • If we add blur lines and glow effect then it will be too complex and overwhelming → especially true if we make this into a 3D model
• The third design is closer to Rivai’s original design
